Tips and Hints for Solving Number Puzzles
- Start where there are fewer numbers: Beginning with rows, columns, or 3x3 blocks that already have many numbers filled in makes it easier to solve as there are fewer candidates.
- Utilize pencil marks (memos): If you are new to this, making small notes of possible numbers that could go into the empty cells is useful for tackling the puzzle.
- Review if you get stuck: If you reach a dead end midway, check for duplicate numbers and ensure you are following the rules of the puzzle.
